This ticket is sold by Bluesfest Promotions (ABN 74 675 011 168) who is responsible for the Event. Bluesfest Enterprises PL is an Australian Private Company operating in Australia. The following conditions are both of sale (including any resale or subsequent assignment), entry and attendance at the Event.

‘You’ and ‘your’ refers to the customer. ‘We’, ‘us’, ‘our’, ‘Bluesfest’ and ‘Event organiser’ refers to Bluesfest Byron Bay Pty Ltd its employees, contractors, volunteers and authorised persons. This agreement means these terms and conditions and any other conditions specified by us on our website and booking forms.

  • Can I change the name on my E-Ticket?
    We have introduced anti-scalping measures by checking IDs against names and DOB on tickets. This is a common practice within the festival industry. As part of our terms and conditions, names and DOB must match the person entering the gate, failure to do so may result in refusal of entry. All E-Tickets can be renamed by clicking on my orders within your Moshtix account. Please note that there may be a charge for this. Log into your account via www.moshtix.com.au
  • Can I change which days I come to the festival?
    No, unfortunately, as per our ticketing terms and conditions we are unable to offer exchanges or refunds. Choose wisely.
  • Can I get a refund?
    No. As part of the Bluesfest Terms and Conditions that you agreed to when purchasing tickets, Bluesfest does not refund tickets. You do have a couple of options though: - Tixel is a resale marketplace to buy and sell tickets. This is the only site that Bluesfest recognises as a reputable -You may reissue/rename your ticket through our ticket provider. Please visit www.moshtix.com.au for more information -If you purchased ticket insurance, you may be entitled to a refund.   • Can I share my wristband to a friend or family member?
    No, the wristbands are for one person only. If your wristband has been tampered with you may not be allowed into the festival.
  • Children and Youth
    Bluesfest is a family friendly venue with a kids area and activities for the whole family. We currently have the following ticket types available from moshtix Adult: 18+ years Youth: 15-17 years (inclusive) Child: 10-14 years (inclusive). Must be accompanied by a responsible paying adult. 9 and under can claim a free ticket with paying adult ticket (limited tickets available) ID is required to enter the venue. It is always a good idea to bring a photocopy of a birth certificate to avoid delays.
  • What happens if I lose or break my wristband?
    The wristband is your pass for the festival, if it is lost or tampered with - it will be void. Any problems with your wristband please go to the ticket box next to the North or South festival entry.

For example this site gives you the opportunity to join our tour mailing list so that we may inform you about upcoming artist tours you may be interested in.   • Dates of Bluesfest 2025
    Bluesfest is held each year over the Easter Long Weekend. This year it will be a 4 day festival. Bluesfest 2025 will run from Thursday 17 April - Sunday 20 April 2025. 4-Day season campers will be allowed to enter on Wednesday 16 April, from 10am.
  • Where is Bluesfest?
    Bluesfest’s home is located on Byron Events Farm (formerly Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm) just off the Pacific Highway between Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads. Check it out on Google Maps! There will be plenty of signage on the highway guiding you in the right direction.
  • What time do festival gates open and close?
    On Thursday the festival gates open at 2pm and the music starts at 4pm. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the festival gates open at 11am and the music starts at midday. There is no entry to the festival after 10pm. The festival closes at midnight each night.
  • Will there be pass-outs?
    Yes, your ticket will be scanned and exchanged for a wristband upon entry which allow you to come and go as you please from the festival site.
  • Can I bring a chair?
    Yes, in fact we encourage you to bring a foldable chair if you wish. Camping chairs are generally the style of chair that people bring to the festival. The main stages will have some plastic chairs available within the tents however they cannot be reserved. If you are bringing your own chair, they can be used inside the tents throughout the day, however, as a matter of safety, you must ensure they moved outside of the tent once the sun goes down as they can be a tripping habit.
  • Where are the pick up and drop off locations?
    The pick up location is at the South end of the festival at the South Entry, follow the signs and directions from Traffic staff once inside the festival gates.
  • When will playing times be released?
    Bluesfest artist announcements happen throughout the year, and following the final announcement, the playing schedule will be created. Playing times are usually released around a month before the festival. Keep your eyes on our socials and Bluesfest homepage for the announcement on when the line up is ready. One thing is for sure - it's gonna be hot!!!!
  • Can I smoke or vape at the festival?
    Yes you may, however we ask that you please be considerate of other people and also bin your butts. Smoking and vaping are banned under the tents. Please be considerate of your fellow festival goers and make sure you adhere to this rule.
  • What can I buy at the festival?
    You will be able to buy food and non-alcoholic beverages, with 38 fresh food outlets to choose from, catering for all tastes with local, delicious produce. Ranging from South American to Portuguese, Middle Eastern or Indian, a good old Ozzie Burger, crepes or corn on the cob. Your taste buds will be satisfied where ever you go on this amazing festival site. There are 6 licensed bars, 1 VIP bar, and 1 Platinum bar which serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Water is available from the food outlets and bars as well as the water refill sites around the festival. There will be a coffee tent where you can take time out, relax and recharge your batteries. There are 45 market stalls on offer, displaying clothing and jewelry designs, hemp products, souvenirs, artwork, bags, silk clothing, hats and many beautiful items from all over the world.
  • Can I bring an umbrella to the festival to shelter me from the sun and the rain?

  • How can I apply to be a volunteer?
    Bluesfest's volunteers are a huge part of our festival and we encourage you to be one of our amazing vollies! To apply to be a volunteer for Bluesfest please head https://www.bluesfest.com.au/apply/
  • Is there parking at the festival?
    Yes, you can purchase your parking ticket on via Moshtix, which you can visit via the Buy Tickets button on our home page. Please note, these prices are prepaid only. We recommend you purchase your parking tickets in advance as they do sell out. Festival campers have complimentary parking for one vehicle (under 5.5 metres in length), however, your car must remain in the campground for the duration of your stay. If campers want to drive their car every day, they will need to park it in the car park (and buy car park tickets).
  • Can I Bring My Children Into The VIP?
    No. The VIP is strictly 18 years and over. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the VIP, this includes babies. Any children, despite how young they are, in the VIP would contravene the liquor license so it is not allowed.
  • Are there showers and toilets?
    Yes. Demountable shower and toilet blocks are set up for the festival. They all have warm water, but with any hot water system, it may run out during the day! Please be water wise and why not shower with a friend?
  • Can I bring a generator?
    Yes, generators are permitted within the hours of 7am-10pm.
  • Can I bring my caravan?
    Yes, provided it's no longer than 9.5 meters including the draw bar. Anything towed (caravan, camper trailer or trailer) or over 5.5 meters in length (campervan or motor home) requires you to purchase a ticket for your vehicle for the days you are camping. You can purchase a large vehicle pass via the Buy Tickets button on our home page. Each person will also need to Purchase an Entry and a Camping ticket to stay in the Camping area. A large Vehicle pass is per large Vehicle eg. Caravan (or anything being towed.
  • Can I cook food at my camp site?
    Gas burners are allowed for cooking and BBQs. If you are bringing a gas cylinder for a BBQ it must be secured safely to your vehicle. You are not permitted to have an open fire on site due to safety reasons. All campers have access to our campers cafe that sells coffee, burgers, wraps, salads, ice and other goods
  • If I bring my caravan or motorhome what do I do with the waste water?
    Our campground at Bluesfest does not have the facilities for caravans and motorhomes that a caravan park has. There are no sullage disposal facilities onsite, if you have sullage storage tanks you must wait until you leave the site for disposal. Please be aware of your close neighbours and the environment when disposing of water. Camping vehicles must not have wastewater running onto the ground.
  • What should I bring?
    Your own tent, warm clothing, all weather footwear, gumboots etc, mozzie repellent, sunscreen, hat, bedding, blankets and pillow (even if you have bought a Tipi or Tent Motel), food, torch, good vibes and your dancing shoes.   • Will there be power in the campgrounds?
    No, there is no power to any of the camping grounds. You can charge your phone within the festival site during opening hours for a small fee. You may also use a small generator until 10pm.
  • Can I book a camping spot next to my friend?
    All camping sites are allocated by our camping team based on arrival. If you wish to camp with your friends, be sure to arrive at the same time.
  • Can I bring my bus to camp in at the festival?
    Yes, however our parking and camping spaces can only accommodate vehicles up to 9.5 metres in length. If you are planning on bringing a large vehicle from 5.5 meters to 9.5 meters, or anything towed, you will need to purchase an additional Large Vehicle ticket for this vehicle (once you already have your festival and camping tickets). You only require one Large Vehicle ticket per vehicle, not per person. You can purchase a Large Vehicle pass through Moshtix
  • Can I bring my own alcohol?
    No. The campground is unlicensed and therefor an ALCOHOL FREE ZONE. Our liquor license states you can only consume alcohol on the actual Festival site, purchased at one of the licensed bars. On arrival, your person, possessions and motor vehicle will be searched for prohibited items including ALCOHOL, GLASS, WEAPONS, ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES or anything else staff deem as dangerous.   • How much room will I have to set up camp?
    We sell camping tickets per person and not per site. You are given enough room to pitch your tent and park your car. If you are bringing anything towed to camp with (trailer/camper trailer/caravan) or if you are bringing a camper van/motor home that is longer than 5.5 metres, you will need a Large Vehicle pass for the vehicle (not per person). Please see large vehicles.
  • Large Vehicles, Campervans, Caravans and Camper Trailers
    If you are bringing anything towed, you must purchase a large vehicle ticket for that vehicle. If you are bringing a campervan or motor home over 5.5 metres, you must purchase a large vehicle ticket for that vehicle. You can purchase this now online. This ticket is on top of your festival and camping tickets and is per vehicle (not per person). This ticket will allow you to fit your vehicle in our campgrounds. There is no designated area for large vehicles, large vehicles are placed around the campgrounds and will not necessarily be in an area that matches your ticket. For example, you may have a 5-day ticket but be placed in a 1-day camping area as we have places for large vehicles in this area. Please note that there is NO POWER to any of our campgrounds. Generators are permitted until 11pm each night. The maximum vehicle size allowed on the Bluesfest site is 9.5 metres. If you bring a vehicle over the size of 9.5 metres you will be refused entry. Please note: Absolutely no camping vehicles of any kind will be allowed to park in the Bluesfest car park (including Wicked Vans) before or after hours. If you wish to camp at Bluesfest you will have to buy a camping ticket. Any campervans found in car parks will be towed.
  • When can I set up my camp?
    5 day Camping + Festival ticket holders: You can arrive from 10am on Wednesday 3 day and 1 day Camping + Festival ticket holders: You can arrive to set up from 10am each day.You can only camp for the nights that are stated on your tickets. You will have to leave the site by 10am the next morning. You must arrive to set up your camp by 9.30pm. If you arrive after this time we will not be able to process you.
  • Accessibility and services for patrons with a disability
    BLUESFEST FACILITIES AND SERVICES FOR PATRONS WITH A DISABILITY Bluesfest welcomes patrons with a disability and aims to improve the site and the Bluesfest experience each year. The event is held on the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm where the terrain is flat grass and gravel. Please be aware that during busy periods and when it rains, pathways can become tricky to negotiate for people who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids. If you are bringing a wheelchair for the event make sure you have a wheelchair with large wheels. Please read the following information carefully. If your questions have not been answered our contact details can be found at the end of this document. PARKING - Our designated parking areas for patrons with a disability who display a Disability Parking Permit are located close to both North and South Festival entries– just follow the Disability Parking signs once you enter the festival or ask one of our friendly car park assistants. - Cars with Disabled Driver stickers also require a parking ticket. Our pre-paid ticket system allows you to easily purchase a ticket for each day for only $25. Purchasing online is cheaper than purchasing on the day so book early to receive a discounted ticket. Parking tickets purchased on the day will be $50, with Tap & Go or Cash payment options. - BUS - If you are arriving by bus, the bus drop off is at the festival’s south gate. CAMPING - Bluesfest provides a designated camping area for people with a disability situated close to the North Festival Entrance. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide power to any of the camping areas. - Accessible toilet and shower facilities are provided in this camping area. We respectfully ask carers and friends camping with patrons with a disability not to use the accessible toilet and shower cubicles for themselves. - Camping spots for patrons with a disability are limited and must be pre-booked. Please call our office on 02 6639 9800 to book your camping site. (Mon - Thu | 10am to 4:30pm). - Limited space requires that you bring no more than 4 campers in your group. If you wish to camp in a larger group you need to stay in the general camping area. TOILETS - Accessible toilets are strategically located around the festival site. You can find them close to all patron toilet locations. We strive to keep these areas clean and sanitary to the best of our ability. CARERS - Bluesfest honours the Companion Card system. If you come with a carer and have a Companion Card, your carer will receive a complimentary entry and camping (if applicable) ticket for the same days as your purchased ticket. - Please note there is a limit of one carer complimentary ticket given each day. If you are attending the festival for multiple days and are using the same carer on all the days a multiple day wristband will be issued to your carer. - To receive your carer’s ticket please go to the ticket office on arrival to the festival with your Companion Card and your carer. VIEWING PLATFORMS - Viewing platforms are for the sole use of our patrons with a disability. We have these facilities in place so that we can provide a more equitable experience for patrons with a disability and their carer. - Viewing platforms are located at the Mojo and Crossroads stages. - Due to high demand Bluesfest cannot cater for patrons with a temporary impairment/injury. - Viewing platforms are specifically designed to provide viewing for those who use wheelchairs, if you are denied access please do not be offended. - A number of chairs are provided on the platforms for you and one carer. So please do not bring your own. - Carers are welcome to use the seating available. Please be aware that if a patron with a disability requires a space then your carer may be asked to surrender their seat. - Please be aware that viewing platforms operate on a first come, first served basis and we cannot guarantee access to platforms at extremely busy periods. - Every platform has a steward ready to assist people where needed. - The access ramps are in accordance with disability regulation standards. ASSISTANCE DOGS We happily permit the use of Assistance Dogs within the festival and camping areas. If you are camping with your Assistance Dog, please respect other patrons by cleaning up after your dog. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Fixed seating is provided at the back of the Crossroads and Mojo Tents for those who cannot stand for long periods of time. This seating cannot be reserved and is for general public use. Patrons are advised that flicker, laser, strobe and other lighting effects may be in use at the festival site. First Aid is available during festival operating hours and is located next to the CD Tent. Our onsite medics are equipped to provide first aid, minor injury care and resuscitation. There will be an emergency contact number on your festival wristband. Please do not call 000. FESTIVAL SITE DISTANCES - The festival is spread over 120 hectares of the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm. There are gravel and dirt paths throughout the site. - The weather can have a massive effect on how easy it is for mobility around the site, please take this into consideration when deciding on what equipment to bring with you. - The following information gives an idea of how far it is to various stages and areas. Please note all distances are approximate and areas are subject to change.   • Are pets allowed at the festival?
    Patrons with accredited Assistance Dogs are welcome and able to bring their dogs into the Festival, however you will just need to show verification at the gate upon entry. Assistance animals need to be micro-chipped and registered in NSW. We will require documentation showing that the assistance animal has been registered with the handler’s local Council and has an assistance animal permit. Applying for an assistance animal permit Please note Companion & Therapy animals are not permitted at the Festival.

  • Am I allowed to bring drugs to the festival?
    No, Bluesfest has a zero tolerance in regards to drug use at our Event. There will be NSW Drug Detection Dogs at entry points and on patrol over the course of the Festival. Anyone detected with drugs may have their wristbands removed and be ejected from the Festival and campgrounds, and may also face criminal charges from the Police.   • Can I share my 3 or 4 day ticket with a friend?
    No. On entry to the festival you will be fitted with a wristband corresponding with your ticket type. You must leave your wristband on for the duration of the festival. Any tampered wristbands will be removed and not replaced.
  • Prohibited Items
    For the safety and comfort of all fans, we advise patrons to arrive early to ensure adequate time for bag checks. Bluesfest strongly discourages the entry of large backpacks and bags and advises that all carried items will be stringently checked upon arrival at Bluesfest. To avoid bag checks, simply leave all large items in your vehicle or tent and proceed straight through our 'non-bag check' lines. Your best option is to travel light and bring as little as possible. Campers should note that they won't be able to bring bags into the grounds via the North Gate. Eskies and coolers of a reasonably small size will only be allowed in with people who have infants under 4 years old. Prohibited Items: Alcohol – any alcohol brought onto the festival site will be confiscated. Glass items (including jars, bottles, containers, mirrors and perfumes). Knives, weapons or explosives of any kind (including potential missiles). Illegal/unidentifiable substances, drugs & legal/herbal highs Flares, fireworks, sparklers, explosives or any fire twirling equipment Fires and open flames Generators running between 10pm and 8am Sound systems Megaphones and airhorns Drones or any other remote control device Professional photography equipment Skateboards, scooters, wagons, carts, rollerblades, roller skates, bicycles, quad-bikes, segways, hoverboards, self-balancing scooters or any personal motorised vehicles. Spray cans Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs). Unauthorised solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, or other promotional items. Umbrellas Unofficial hi-viz and reflective jackets Any other item deemed by Festival staff (in their discretion) to be dangerous or offensive or potentially dangerous. Any persons found to be in possession of Prohibited Items will have those Prohibited Items confiscated and they will not be returned. Any persons found to be in possession of illegal substances or participating in illegal activities will be removed from Festival Site / Camp Site and may be referred to the police. Please note that children's trolleys are discouraged in favour of prams and strollers for toddlers and will be heavily searched and owners should be prepared to have them totally emptied out in advance of entry points. All chairs must be taken out of covers for checking at entry points. We thank you for working with us to make this Bluesfest as safe and enjoyable as possible for everyone who attends.
