One of the Australian music industry's most enduring talents, Xavier Rudd has spent over 20 years touching lives with his uplifting, socially conscious music. From his 2002 debut album To Let, fans were drawn to his incredible multi-instrumental abilities and his deep commitment to social and environmental activism. Over the years, Xavier’s live performances have evolved from full band and trio setups to his current internationally acclaimed one-man band showcase, a complex and immersive experience that highlights his unparalleled artistry.

In 2024, Xavier released the Freedom Sessions EP, featuring standout tracks like “Moments,” “Road Trippin’,” and “World Order (Parts 1 and 2),” with the latter accompanied by an official music video. Showcasing intricate live looping and complex soundscapes, the EP has further cemented his reputation for delivering mesmerising performances. Recent milestones include his critically acclaimed 10th studio album Jan Jun Moon, which earned him an APRA Award, and his first-place win at the Environmental Music Prize for “Stoney Creek,” with Xavier donating the $20,000 prize to grassroots environmental organisations. With major festival appearances around the world and two highly successful North American and European tours, Xavier continues to soar. He returns to Bluesfest in 2025, marking a poignant moment in the festival's history.
